Trial Report 3/10/26 IABTC Super Sniffers

This trial was held in the education building at the venue, the search area was a corridor leading to a classroom on the left the first hide, was to the far end of the room under a mobile heater. The second hide was in the door jamb of second door at the far end of the corridor leading to the same corridor. Some handlers worked the corridor first then the classroom. Those taking that route found the door hide easily, but some struggled to get to source I they had worked the room first, I accepted a call on either the exterior or interior door jamb.

Silver

This trial was in the main hanger, the search areas led on from each other very nicely. The trial search area was a large area taking in a helicopter a walk through with message board in the centre, a small plane moving tug a further walk through leading to a small, enclosed area with various pieces of equipment and a small plane. The first hide was on the rear of the tug; the message board was some 6 feet in front of this many of the dogs paid interest to this and some handlers misread the COB for being in odour rather than interest. The second hide was on the undercarriage of the small plane. Two dogs did not manage to fin this hide.
