Scent Ops Trial South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum.
Bronze This trial was held inside one of the exhibition halls. This had only one entrance just rear of the start point, the door remained open throughout. The door at the far end was closed. The search area was quite complicated with a variety of part cockpits, displays and an added small room just before the end of the search which was quite contained. The white dog found both hides well inside the time limit. The first hide was approximately 12 feet from the start point at t

There was a carpeted central aisle with rows of fold up chairs along each side. At the top there was a large floor standing display wreath and a trestle table with two chairs. Behind this was a glass door leading to a fire escape. The hides were placed one at the start of the search tucked under the handle of a large plastic storage box containing

CLUB TRIAL BRECKENHILL 15 FEBRUARY 2026
Judges Report Judge: Antoinette Traynor The club trial was held in a small section of the function room at Breckenhill. The section was cordoned off by a row of chairs that were not in play for the search. Entrance into the search area was through a large cased opening which was supported by H irons (the inner side of the irons was included in the search). On entry to the search area (going right) was a large wooden barrel and picnic table, followed by more picnic tables as y

5th February 2026 - Double Silver & Gold trial results and reports- Newbury Christmas Tree Farm (KBDT)
Trials Reports: Silver 1 - The first of today's Silver trials was at the Christmas tree farm outdoors and was set amongst 2 rows of Christmas trees. It was raining and there were ~12mph winds as well as lost off wildlife droppings and rabbit burrows which could have made searching challenging for the dogs. The first hide was located on the right-hand row of Christmas trees embedded in a tree stump. The second was in the back left corner on the outside of the tree trunk circa

Gate Helmsley Village Institute - 31st Jan 26
The Club trial search area was a smaller carpeted room, just off the main hall. The room contained a very large and full bookshelf with an adjacent table housing more stacks of books with some boxes of books under the table too, some comfy chairs were also in this corner, as well as some other tables and stacks of chairs around the rest of the perimeter of the room, and in the middle of the room were two further rows of chairs. In the corner opposite the bookshelves was a ve

Bronze Trial held at Beadle Sports and Social community Centre.
This was held indoors. The search area consisted of half of the hall area which just had stacks of chairs and tables round the perimeter. This then led into a carpeted seating / bar area. Both hides were located in the bar area, one at the far left under a table leg and the other located on a bar stool to the right as people entered the area. Some handlers clearly expected there to be a hide in each area causing them to spend too much time in a blank area highlighting the im
