We held another Bronze trial at Murton Park Farming Museum.
The search area consisted of an open fronted wooden structure with various wooden boxes and a table, and a Viking village round hut with wooden tables, bench's, baskets, and wooden boards propped up.
Both hides were located in the round hut, one on the bottom of the fire extinguisher to the left and the second was on the right behind one of the boards on the floor.
Only 2 teams managed to find both hides and the one that proved the trickiest was the one behind the board, dogs appeared to skim past it and handlers were tending not to task dogs on that side as much, perhaps as it looked like a 'blank' area due to the lack of object's.
Some handlers were spending a lot of time in the first structure, presuming there would be a hide in each structure highlighting the need to trust your dog and manage time effectively.
On the whole every team worked really well in what can be a distracting environment, a really enjoyable evening.
